Since I was a child, I’ve been passionate about all sorts of electronic devices. Growing up in the post-USSR era, opportunities to own these devices were scarce. My access to them was mostly limited to the pages of random European electronics catalogs from the mid-80s, which I would pore over, amazed at how advanced they seemed. It was almost surreal to be living in the mid-90s and yet feel like we were stuck in the past, with so many of those fascinating gadgets remaining out of reach.
As time passed and I grew older, the desire to own those devices never faded. Instead, it fueled a lifelong passion. I began collecting the very things I had once only dreamed of. This blog is dedicated to that journey—finding, collecting, renewing, and repairing these relics of the past, and even adding a modern twist with some mods. It’s a space to share my experiences, the challenges, and the joy that comes from bringing these pieces of history back to life.
